I would love to read more from this author. This is one of the lighter Charlie Priest mysteries, which I like. When Beth Bernstein’s mother unexpectedly passed away, Beth’s life was forever changed, as she knew that she’d lost not only her best friend, but also a big part of herself. Just a quick note for parents: this book is probably safe for your teen/tween. His works have been adapted for both feature film and television. I read this story several years ago and I was happy to see it available on Kindle. The best selection, an "Impolite interview" by Paul Krassner for his ground-breaking underground political satire publication, The Realist, in 1971, shows the brilliance that shines from the minds of Kesey and Krassner, two of the brightest suns of the Sixties-and-later counterculture.
