The novel is told from Bev King's perspective, but it is the ability of the Story Girl to tell convincing tales of adventure, romance, suspense, and even terror that moves the narrative. Well written and emotional, makes you apart of the bayou. This book contained more action then the previous two combined in my opinion. Even though some of the characters are greedy, selfish, and mean, kindness prevails.
